We can assign the registration to your vehicle between the hours of 7am-7pm daily. *Please note the criteria for an online transfer requires the vehicle to have valid Tax & Mot in place with no large breaks in the previous 5 years.

To process the online transfer to your vehicle we will require the following information from the front page on the V5 logbook of the vehicle you wish to assign the registration to;

• Current Registration 
• Document reference number
• Postcode

Simply reply to the order confirmation email you receive with a photo of the front page of your logbook attached stating you would like an online transfer along with a suitable time and date for you.

On completion of the online transfer you will receive a confirmation email showing the transfer has been completed successfully along with the EV948 Document attached. Print the EV948 and take to your local motor factors to get the new Physical registration plates made. Please note physical plates are not included in this sale. 

On the rare occasion the online system is unsuccessful due to the vehicles criteria not being met then a postal application can be made and we will be in touch to arrange this for you. This is usually completed within 14 days.

Please kindly note you can only display the new registration on your vehicle when the registration transfer has been completed and you have confirmation of this.

 What happens my current MOT & TAX?

Your current vehicle TAX and MOT will remain valid and both of these is transferred over to the new vehicle registration. 

Will I get a new V5C Logbook for the vehicle?

Yes a new replacement V5C Logbook will be sent to the registered address for the vehicle from the DVLA usually within 3-5 working days.

Please note you can only display the new registration on your vehicle when the registration transfer has been completed and you have confirmation of this.

If you are not ready to have the registration assigned to your vehicle we can supply it on a certificate which can then be transferred to your vehicle at a later date with NO additional costs involved.  This also makes them a perfect present. 

As the £80 assignment fee is already paid in advance you will not occur any further fees in the future. Most certificates have a 10 year period to assign them and this can be extended before the expiry ends if required.

We can also assign the registration for you in the future when you decide to use it. Simply get in touch and we will complete this for you. 

All certificates are posted via royal mail using first class signed for which is usually a next working day service. Tracking information will be provided once posted.

• Are these dateless number plates suitable for vehicles registered in Northern Ireland? Yes all of our registrations are able to be assigned to any road registered vehicle in Northern Ireland & the United Kingdom.

 

• Can i transfer my new number i purchase to future vehicles? Yes once you  purchase a registration you can retain it and transfer it to future vehicles also. (Ask for further information on this if required)

 

• Are these dateless number plates suitable for vehicles registered in the United kingdom? Yes all of our registrations are able to be assigned to any road registered vehicle in the United kingdom & Northern Ireland.

 

• Does In2Registrations handle the transfer process for my new registration? Yes we handle the transfer from start to finish.

 

• What is required to complete a Cherished registration application online? Logbook (V5C) is required in your name along with valid mot & Tax on the vehicle with no large breaks in previous 5 years.

 

• Is there any additional Fees to pay? No, there is no hidden fees. Our prices are final with the £80 transfer fee included in all our prices

 

• How long does a cherished registration transfer take? We offer a same day online transfer on all our registrations if the vehicle criteria is met. We can have your new registration assigned instantly between the hours of 7am – 7 pm daily. If an online transfer is not possible then a postal application is required and is usually completed within 14 days.

 

• What happens once a transfer has been completed? If the transfer is completed online you will receive instant email confirmation of the transfer along with the ev948 certificate which allows you to get the new registration made at a motor factors of your choice. Fit the new registration plate and inform your insurance company of the new registration for your vehicle. DVLA will issue you a new V5C stating the new registration within 5-7 working days.

 

• Does the Registration need to be assigned straight away? No our stock can be supplied and held on certificate for up to 10 years. The registration can be assigned at any point in this period for no additional cost. We will post you the certificate via Royal mail 1st class signed for service. This is usually a next working day service. (Tracking number will be provided via email). You can then get in touch with us whenever you would like it assigned to your vehicle and we will take care of this for you.

 

• When can i put the new registration on my vehicle? Please note you can only display the new registration on your vehicle when the registration transfer has been completed and you have confirmation of this.
